Everything you need to know to consign with Options...
~ How do I consign Items with options?
Options does not accept unannounced "drop-offs", so if you are interested in consigning with options, you must contact the store to set up an appointment to bring your item(s) in, to be viewed. *NOTE* Please go to the "Contact Us" link to call and set up an appointment, If you are interested in consigning furniture or large items, it helps to email photos, or bring photos with you to your scheduled appointment.
~ What percentage is the commission?
Option's commission is 50/50 split for items sold over $10.00, and a 60/40 split for items sold under $10.00. There are no extra fees for displaying your item.
~ How does Options determine the price of my items(s)?
Option's appraises your item and bases price on...
1) what the consigner(you) paid for the item(s)
2) The condition of the item at present state
3) the current retail value of the item
4) the consumers' (general public's) demand for the item(s), (e.g. the more popular and "saleable" the item is the more it is worth, because it will sell faster)
~How many items can I consign at a one time?
You are allowed 25 items per appointment. However, there is NO limit to appointments, you may have several consignments in the store at one time.
~ Are my items guaranteed to sell?
Unfortunately we do no guarantee any sales, as the economy changes everyday, and the consumer's preferences are subject to change as well. But we do our best to help you sell you sell your
item(s)
~How many days do I have to sell my item(s), and what happens after that time period?
Your items are consigned for a period of 60 days. After 60 days, you are responsible to collect your unsold items, at which time you will be paid for your sold items. Higher priced items will be considered for a second consignment period at a lower price.
